Biography
Optimizing Specification of RTV Coated Insulators Based on Practical Applications (in English)
Mr. Okawa received his B.Sc. in Electronics Engineering from the Kanazawa Institute of Technology in Japan. He joined NGK Insulators in 1992 and served as Manager of the Product Engineering Section at NGK-Locke Polymer Insulators in the U.S. from 2008 to 2016. He has been extensively involved in the development and design of transmission line insulators and currently serves as Head of NGK’s High Voltage Laboratory. He is a member of IEC TC36 MT18, MT19, and MT20, and actively participates in CIGRE, IEEE, and IEEJ.
