Multi-Scale Structural Regulation & Enhancing Performance of MO Varistors (in English)
Zhuolin Cheng is an Assistant Professor at the School of Electrical Engineering, Xi’an Jiaotong University. He received his B.S. (2019) and Ph.D. (2025) degrees from Xi’an Jiaotong University under the supervision of Prof. Jianying Li. His research primarily focuses on dielectric theory and high-performance metal oxide varistors, with over ten peer-reviewed journal publications. In recent years, his work has centered on the DC aging mechanism, performance enhancement, and condition assessment of metal oxide varistors. His relevant findings have been published as the first author in leading journals, including Physical Review Applied, Journal of Advanced Ceramics (Cover Article), Journal of Applied Physics, and Transactions of China Electrotechnical Society. He currently holds one authorized patent and one software copyright, and presides over one State Key Laboratory Fund and one Fundamental Research Fund for the Central Universities.
