Alternatives to SF6 in Power Cable Connections: Industry Transition, Normative & Product Developments (in English)

Mr. Jovanovic obtained his Electrical Engineering Degree from the University of Belgrade and his MBA from the University of Chicago. His accomplishments in his professional career include development and introduction of HV and EHV terminations and joints for insulated cables up to 500 kV. Since 2025, he has been responsible for his company’s industry engagement in MV and HV Cable Systems, Overhead Lines and Connectors. He has authored numerous papers, been a speaker at local and international conferences and represents the U.S. in CIGRE and IEC advisory boards and Technical Committees. He serves as Chair of IEEE’s Standard for HV Cable Terminations and Joints.
