Latest Developments in IEEE Standardization for Cable Terminations & Joints (in English)

Mr. Jovanovic has worked in various Engineering, R&D, Marketing and Product Management positions in the power system industry for the past 25 years. He obtained his Electrical Engineering Degree from the University of Belgrade and his MBA degree from University Chicago. His professional focus in recent years has been on development and introduction of MV/HV terminations and joints for extruded and oil-impregnated paper cables up to 500 kV, covering all aspects, from design to field application. In 2025, he joined Pfisterer where he has global responsibility for Industry Affairs & Standards. He has authored numerous papers, spoke at local and international conferences and represents the U.S. in CIGRE as well as in IEC advisory boards and Technical Committees. He is a Chair of PES Insulated Conductor Subcommittee B (Cable Accessories) and leads the IEEE Standard for Cable Terminations and Joints.
