Mr. Al-Thagafi holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals. He has had 15 years experience at the Saudi Electricity Company in asset management of overhead power lines and cable systems. Currently, he is responsible for maintenance and managing test stations for outdoor insulators whose goal is to optimize the performance of transmission lines in desert areas. He is author or co-author of several published papers in this field.
