Mr. Alonso holds a Degree in Energy Engineering. He specializes in glass insulator qualification, compliance with international standards (IEC, ANSI, and CSA), manufacturing process optimization, and condition monitoring of high-voltage transmission line insulators. Actively involved in the international insulator community through technical contributions to conferences and standardization activities, including presentations at the 2025 CIGRE Spain Technical Sessions, co-authoring a paper presented at INMR World Congress 2025, and participating as a member of IEC TC 36/WG 11, the working group responsible for the development of IEC 60815, Selection and Dimensioning of High-Voltage Insulators Intended for Use in Polluted Conditions.
