Mr. Coelho holds an MSc in Electrical Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico, a Postgraduate Degree in Enterprise Data Science and Analytics from NOVA IMS, and an Executive MBA from Católica-Nova Business School in collaboration with MIT Sloan. He leads EDP Labelec’s inspection of power network assets through advanced sensing technologies, digital twins and data-driven asset management solutions. With more than a decade of experience in utility asset inspection, his expertise includes LiDAR, thermographic and RGB inspections, UAV-based data collection, AI-assisted defect detection, and condition assessment of transmission and distribution infrastructure. Prior to his current role, he worked in power system modelling and simulation, high-voltage laboratory testing and consulting projects.
