Assessing Technical Reliability of 33 kV & 66 kV Inter-Array Cable Strings at Offshore Wind Farms

Dr. Jongen graduated in 2004 with a M.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering at Delft University of Technology. His Ph.D. degree involved research on statistical failure analysis of component lifetime data focused on asset management. Between 2009 and 2012, he worked for Seitz Instruments as Product Manager of testing and diagnostic measurement equipment for HV network components. Currently, he is Technical Manager in the field of onsite testing and diagnostics of high voltage equipment. He brings over 15 years of experience in on-site testing of on- and offshore medium- and (extra) high voltage power cables as well in performing onsite partial discharge measurements.
