Corrosion of Glass, Porcelain & Composite Insulators on Overhead Transmission Lines in Severely Corrosive Marine Environments (in Spanish)

Mr. Maya is an Electromechanical Engineer and Specialist in Automatic Control Systems, with 38 years of experience in the Power Sector. He is a specialist in the corrosion of overhead transmission lines and electrical substations, author of the book Corrosion in High Voltage Power Transmission Lines, and author and instructor in Colombia, Peru, Chile, and Brazil of the “Comprehensive Corrosion Management” (MIC) methodology. He is a lecturer for the Live-Line Working Diploma program at the National University of Colombia – COCIER (Colombia), as well as a contributing member of CIGRE (WG B2.69: Coatings for protecting overhead power networks against icing, corona noise, corrosion and reducing their visual impact).
