Recent Advances in Surface Characterization of Composite Polymer Insulators (in English)

Sanskruti Padmawar is a Computer Science graduate from the University of Victoria (UVic) and currently works as a Junior Software Developer and Business Analyst at ASAsoft® (Canada) Inc., where she contributes to the company’s Digital Twin Project. She has been part of ASAsoft® for over five years in a part-time capacity before transitioning into her current role, which has provided a deeper familiarity with the company’s cleantech innovations. Since graduation, she has been developing expertise in computational fluid dynamics (CFD) for moisture ingress and thermal analysis, finite element analysis (FEA) for stress and structural response, materials science focusing on FRP–metal interface behaviour, and electromagnetics related to arcing and dielectric failure. She primarily applies her skills in data mining to laboratory data analysis and digital twin planning, alongside project management responsibilities involving scheduling, tools, and reporting. Certified in Substation Automation Systems from the British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT), she brings both technical expertise and industry knowledge. Beyond her engineering work, Sanskruti is also an active speaker at international trade missions and conferences, representing ASAsoft®’s role in innovating grid modernization & resilience.
