María José Raposo is an Electrical Engineer and Co-Founder of Engineering & Technology for Business (Engitech4bizz), a company specialized in power systems, substations and asset reliability solutions for the electrical utility sector. With more than two decades of experience in transmission and distribution, she has worked on projects to improve insulation performance, substation reliability and maintenance optimization in challenging environments. Her field experience includes implementation of RTV silicone coating solutions in air-insulated substations exposed to coastal and industrial pollution, including power plants, cement facilities, paper mills and utility networks across Spain and Portugal. Beyond her technical expertise, she has held leadership positions within the International Society of Automation (ISA), where she has promoted knowledge sharing, professional development and international collaboration. She regularly presents real-world case studies, operational lessons learned and best practices aimed at helping utilities improve reliability, reduce maintenance costs and enhance asset performance.
