Eng. Santana is an Electrical Engineer from the Universidad Nacional de Colombia, with a specialization in Transmission Systems focused on live-line work from the Universidad Tecnológica Superior de Irapuato (Mexico), and an MBA from Westfield Business School (Spain). With 30 years of experience in live-line work (TcT) on substations and transmission lines, he is a recognized specialist in external insulation — polymer, porcelain, and glass. He is the creator and lead instructor of the TcT Diploma Program at the Universidad Nacional de Colombia in partnership with COCIER, and teaches in the Specialization in Fault Resolution and Maintenance of Energized Installations at the Universidad Tecnológica Nacional (Concordia, Argentina). He currently serves as General Manager of SETET WS Chile.
